In the last year, Premium Agric Products (PAP) has made significant strides in reinforcing its structures, ensuring adequacy of its logistics and expanding the network of its business partnership. 

During the year 2023-2024, Premium Agric Products focused on:

  • Rainforest Alliance Cocoa Certification:

Premium Agric Products license request was granted, effective October 2023.  

The Rainforest Alliance Cocoa Certification Program is the world’s largest scale initiative to drive more sustainable cocoa farming. The certification program involving about one million cocoa farmers, is helping to build thriving livelihoods and promote climate resilience through certification and training.

By this certification, Premium Agric Products undertakes to ensure that cocoa from farmers’ groups is cultivated and sourced according to ethical and sustainability standards. This includes ensuring traceability of cocoa products, promotion of responsible water management and land use; improving working conditions of cocoa farmers and workers; training and helping cocoa farming communities thrive socially and economically.

  •  United States Minority Accredited Business.

The benefits of a Minority Certified Business in the United States include exclusive contract opportunities from states and local governments. Many state and local government bodies in the United States reserve a certain percentage of their contracts exclusively for Minority-certified businesses. Other benefits include financial assistance, assistance with resources for training and development and networking opportunities.

  • Leadership Council of National Small Business Association (NSBA), United States.

March 2024: Premium Agric Products LLC was appointed into the Leadership Council of National Small Business Association (NSBA), United States.

The Leadership Council of National Small Business Association (NSBA) is a group of small business owners who operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis focusing on federal advocacy, and conducts a series of surveys every year, including annual Economic Reports. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-businesses and ensuring that congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

  • Activities in Cameroon and Visit by the Board:

Premium Agric Products Limited has been involved in several communal activities in the Cocoa producing areas of Cameroon.
